Community projects for the region: the Christoph Merian Cantonal Bank Foundation

The Christoph Merian Cantonal Bank Foundation supports social, cultural and environmental causes. These causes are pursued in the cantons of Basel-Country and Basel-City and the surrounding areas. The Basler Kantonalbank founded the non-profit-making foundation together with the cantonal bank of Basel-Country and the Christoph Merian Stiftung in 2008.

More and more people feel the need to preserve something valuable, actively help to design living environments and make a meaningful contribution to the further development of our society. Lived solidarity is an important basis for our communal living. Anyone who undertakes the responsibility for social weaknesses, for culture and nature, thus making a commitment to the quality of life, is investing in the future and creating constants.

Perhaps ask yourself how you can support and realize your values and visions today and how your estate can be used wisely. We are happy to advise you and show you how your money can achieve a major and sustainable effect. Invest in a positive future.

The Christoph Merian Cantonal Bank Foundation is a dependent foundation of the Christoph Merian Stiftung, and is committed to its principles as a result.

A contribution of 24,000 francs from the Christoph Merian Cantonal Bank Foundation made it possible to hold a two week nature holiday for disadvantaged children at the Löwenburg Castle in 2012.
This was the fourth time this project had been organized.
