Deposits and letters of credit relate to obligation loans, for which in place of funds the bank makes your creditworthiness available.
Deposits
To verify your creditworthiness or payment ability to your partners, we will be happy to issue a variety of guarantees at your request:
- Mechanic’s guarantees
- Tenant’s guarantees
- Loan collateral guarantees
- Offering, fulfilment, and down payment guarantees.
We are prepared to serve with our name as guarantor for you.
Letters of Credit
With a documentary letter of credit, the buyer requests his/her bank to pay a specific amount to the seller within a defined timeframe and upon presentation of prescribed merchandise documentation. This protects the exporter from the risk of delivering merchandise without contractual compensation. The importer is required to pay only for merchandise deliveries based on the relevant documents.
We offer letter of credit transactions through our cooperation with the Zurich cantonal bank (ZKB).
